I would like to know how to change order settings notification from WhatsApp to SMS for customer web application’s telephone number authentication.

Very good question. There should be multiple options, to ensure riders and drivers have choices. In many ways, Whatsapp is undoubtedly a more feature rich application, holding dominant sway in the market as a coat-tail subsidiary of social giant monopolist Facebook/Meta/Instagram, et.al. Just the same, there are OPEN SOURCE email and SMS products freely available to anyone with the skills to implement - and more people have at least minimal proficiency using simple SMS.
But I’m not the CEO, just a lowly Light colleague who agrees and supports your suggestion!
The more users who engage with this post (a Like, a comment/reply) the more likely it is to catch the attention of support monitors and possibly be escalated to management and software engineers.

Kindly note that sms verification options are custom for every location and depend on the rates and routing for this or that country.
As Onde covers all the sms verification cost, we determine delivery optimal channels

Se que es un tema cerrado. Pero en Argentina anda pésimo la verificación con SMS! Al 50% de los usuarios no les llega el mensaje.
Imagínate estar poniendo dinero en Marketing para lanzar la app y que a nadie le llegue la verificación.
Y en todo caso, de última, quitar la verificación debería ser una opción.

The ceassation of OTP delivery to Kenya is very unfornunate and regretatable.Our company invested heavily in marketing and aquiring customers only for you to stop OTP delivery. The action means we have to stop this business of PickMeApp. Web app and PickMeApp cannot work without OTP.Please inform me when you remove OTP feature otherwise this is a useless app in Kenya.
