Rather than simply ask how a rider wants to be addressed, why not ask for the riders full names and resudential address and a profile pic. Just as riders are entitled to have identifyng data about drivers, so too should drivers have the right to identify riders entering their vehicles. This should be an optional opt/in feature for drivers to toggle on or off.
At any rate, the booking screen that only asks how a client wishes to be addressed is inadequate as a safety measure.
We are all routinely asked for identifying information when we sign up for ANTHING, so this should not be a sticking or friction point in the ridehailing passenger onboarding experience.
