Operator app notifications

Hello, I have installed operator app on my android device over chrome. I can use it as normal phone app.

The issue that I have is that I do not receive any sound or vibration notifications. I have turned on every possible option for that and removed every possible restriction in the phone for the app. I am still not receiveing any kind of notifications about incoming rides.

I have also turned on every option for notifications in the chrome to get notifications on laptop but I also don’t receive any.

How could I solve this issues?

Hi, Luxus.transfers!

The operator app was developed as a browser application primarily for PCs/laptops. It doesn’t support any vibrations or sound alerts. Also, please note that if your company gets hundreds of orders each day, the sound alerts will bring more harm than good.

So that means not even in chrome browser when a ride comes I can’t get any kind of notification?

Not in the operator app. You will get a notification in your driver app if the order is offered to you.

It would be really useful feature if at least operator.app in web browser would make some sound like blip/clip when there is new request. Because then we wouldn’t need to switch from ‘instant’ to ‘preorder’ every couple of seconds to see if there is any requests avaliable.

I did a test by ordering fake ride and didn’t get any kind of sign that the ride request came in. After two minutes the request was gone.

I would personally be really grateful to you if you made at least some kind of notification feature and I strongly believe that a lot of other people would be who started using your services.

I will post screenshots as a proof that it is possible to download operator.app from chrome when you are on the ‘https://operator.onde.app/’ web page.

Hello! I am afraid we don’t have such an option at the moment. However, I have forwarded your request to our business analyst for further review and assessment. If this feature goes along with our development plans, it might be added later on.
