Web App Ride Price Different Than Driver App

I have set my services and I have been testing the ride requests using the Web App and the Driver App. My problem is one price is shown to the rider on the Web App, while a drastically different price is shown on the Driver App when the request comes in. This is a problem because how will I know the amount to charge the rider once they enter the vehicle?

For example, in the Web App I entered the pick up address as 5810 East Skelly Drive, Tulsa, OK 74135 and the destination address to Tulsa International Airport. The Web App displayed a price of $20.46.

Upon hitting the book button, the Driver App alerts me that there is a ride request, however the amount of the ride displayed in on the request in the Driver App says $9.00. The same occurs with pre-ordered ride requests.

Please advise me on how to correct this issue so the prices are the same amount. Thank you.

Dear Brandon,

Most likely the price is different as the system built a different estimated route in driver app. If you check suggested routes in Web app and in driver app when this job is offered, you’ll see the difference, hence the estimated cost differs.

It would appear that you are correct. I tested this theory, and o the Web App it suggested one route for $25.40, while the Driver App recommended a different route at $17.05 (see screenshot).

I’m not sure if I like this, however, because it can be confusing to passengers who expect to pay one amount but then are told a different amount upon entering the vehicle. Also, what if the amounts are reversed at times, and the amount displayed to the driver is more than the amount displayed to the passenger upon booking?

Is there a way to fix this?
